Acceptable Use and Prohibited Items
Effective: 17 October 2026 · Operated by Industrodrome India Research Private Limited
This policy sets out what you must not do on the Dypzo platform and which goods may not be sourced, listed or shipped through it. It forms part of the Terms and Conditions. It applies to Merchants, Suppliers and everyone else who uses the Platform.
1.Following the law
You must follow all Indian laws that apply to you, your goods and your business. You must hold every licence, registration and permission they require, and you must be able to show them if we ask.
You are responsible for what you list, source and sell. Dypzo does not check every product, and our not objecting to something does not mean it is lawful.
2.Prohibited items
You must not list, source, sell or ship the following through Dypzo:
- counterfeit, fake or replica goods, and goods that infringe someone else's trademark, copyright, design or other rights;
- narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, and anything used mainly to make or consume them;
- weapons, arms, ammunition and explosives, including fireworks and anything the law treats as such;
- hazardous and dangerous goods, such as flammable, corrosive, toxic, radioactive or compressed-gas items, and other goods that couriers cannot carry safely;
- wildlife and products made from them, including protected animals, plants, skins, ivory, horn and shells, which are restricted under Indian wildlife law;
- items that need a licence or registration the seller does not hold, for example prescription medicines, some medical devices, alcohol, tobacco, e-cigarettes and vaping products, and food or cosmetics that need a licence or registration;
- stolen goods, and goods whose sale breaches a court or government order;
- currency, lottery tickets, gambling goods and similar items;
- obscene or sexually explicit material, and any material that is unlawful to publish or sell;
- human remains or organs, and live animals; and
- anything else that is illegal to sell, hold or transport in India, or that a Courier Partner or Supplier has told us it will not carry.
This list is not complete. Courier Partners and Suppliers may have extra restrictions. We may update the list and will apply a change as soon as it is published.
3.Prohibited conduct
You must not use the Platform to:
- commit or help commit fraud, or mislead anyone about who you are, what you sell or what an order is;
- place fake orders, or orders that exist only to move money, inflate figures, test the system or collect payouts;
- abuse cash on delivery, for example by placing orders you do not mean to accept, giving false addresses or phone numbers, refusing parcels without good reason, or causing repeated returns on purpose;
- misuse the Wallet, payouts or payment instruments, or move money in a way that hides its source or purpose;
- scrape, crawl or harvest data from the Platform or the website, or use bots or automated tools to access them, except through an interface we provide for that purpose;
- reverse engineer, probe or attack the Platform, bypass its security or rate limits, or introduce malware;
- access another person's account or data without permission, or share your sign-in details;
- upload content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory or harassing, or that you have no right to use;
- use personal data of End Customers for any purpose other than fulfilling their orders and as the law allows;
- send spam, or contact Suppliers, Courier Partners or End Customers in a way that is abusive or deceptive; or
- interfere with the Platform or other users' use of it.
4.Your responsibilities as a seller
Describe your goods accurately, and display the information the law requires for goods sold online, such as seller details, prices and, where it applies, the country of origin.
Handle your End Customers' complaints, returns and refunds, and keep to the consumer protection and e-commerce rules that apply to you.
Make sure you have the right to sell the goods and to use the images and descriptions you publish.
5.How we enforce this policy
We may review orders, listings and activity to check this policy, and we may use automated risk checks.
If we find or reasonably suspect a breach, we may, with or without notice, remove a listing, hold or cancel an order, stop a shipment, hold or set off payouts and balances as the Terms allow, restrict features, suspend or close an account, and report the matter to the authorities.
We may share information about a suspected breach with Suppliers, Courier Partners, payment providers and law enforcement where that is needed or required by law.
You are responsible for losses, penalties and claims caused by your breach, including charges levied on us by a Courier Partner, as set out in the Terms.
6.Reporting a breach
If you see a listing, order or conduct that breaks this policy, tell us at support@dypzo.com with the details, such as links, order numbers and screenshots. We will look into it. For complaints about us, see Grievance Redressal.
7.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
